Are MIJE hostels accredited?
The MIJE association, recognised as being of public utility since 1970, is accredited by the French National Education system and has the capacity to organise travel and to welcome groups of minors in France and Europe (Atout France approved).
In addition, the MIJE association is accredited by Jeunesse et Education Populaire and its hostels are listed in the directory of reception and accommodation centres authorised by Paris’ academic board. It has a “local” number certifying that it has been declared to the SDCS 75 as a collective reception centre for minors (ACM).

How to make a group booking at MIJE youth hostels?
All groups are welcome in our approved Youth and Sport establishments for the collective reception of minors.
A dedicated counsellor will be your contact person for organising your trip; additional services are available (transport, transfers, packed lunches, etc.).

What are the conditions for group bookings?
A pre-reservation is made and an option deadline is set to confirm the stay.
A deposit of 30% (or 70% for a booking less than 10 weeks before arrival) must be paid to confirm the booking. The entire stay must be paid prior to arrival.

How far in advance should bookings be made?
You will find real-time availability of our accommodation on our website. You can book at any time, as soon as you know your plans for your trip to Paris.
What forms of payment are accepted ?
Bank transfer, online payment by credit card and cheques (French bank account) are accepted.
Is there the possibility of on-site catering?
Yes, our Fourcy Youth Hostel restaurant welcomes you every day for evening meals. Menus at reasonable prices are offered. You can buy your meal tickets directly from the reception desk of your MIJE hostel.
In which MIJE Marais hostel will my stay take place?
The three youth hostels, Fourcy, Fauconnier and Maubuisson, are located in the Marais district, very close to each other, in the 4th arrondissement of Paris.
For an individual stay, the address of your accommodation will be sent to you in a confirmation email a few days before your arrival.
For a group stay, the address of the hostel is specified in the room allocation list.
How to get to the MIJE youth hostels?
The hostels ca be accessed by several means of public transport: metro and bus.
The nearest stations are indicated on your booking confirmation.
By touring coach: the Paris City Council has set up the PASS Autocar for touring coaches.

Do MIJE hostels have rooms that are accessible for people with impaired mobility?
Yes, four rooms are adapted to welcome people with impaired mobility, at the Fourcy hostel.

Are meeting rooms available?
Each hostel has a communal area, with tables and chairs, open to all guests and not open to the public. Two meeting rooms at Fourcy Youth Hostel can be rented for half or full days.
