MIJE is a reference in the educational mobility area, committed to the project of a 100% inclusive school and labelled for its eco-friendly approach. The MIJE association, recognised as being public utility, is also approved by the French National Education department.

The MIJE association was created in 1958 by teachers, and has developed around two activities related to educational mobility: educational school trips in France & Europe and the management of three youth hostels, MIJE Marais, located at the heart of Paris. Its mission is to promote “beyond the walls” education for young people, giving them the possibility of embarking on a collective experience of mobility; to accompany teachers and those involved in the youth education by contributing to their educational and pedagogical projects, while also playing a role in the notion of a Social and Solidarity-based Economy.
