MIJE commits alongside the Clicks On project

Training tomorrow's citizens also means giving them the means to take action for the climate today.
Educating tomorrow’s citizens means empowering them to take action on today’s climate challenges. For over 65 years, the nonprofit association MIJE has helped young people grow and open their minds to the world through meaningful educational travel. Every year, MIJE supports more than 2,000 educational mobility projects across France and Europe, guided by a humanist vision: fostering growth through encounters with diversity, history, culture — and now, more than ever, with the pressing challenges of our time.
Eco-responsibility at the heart of MIJE’s mission
Because education is key to the transition, MIJE has embraced a sustainable approach:
– Greening its youth hostels and creating spaces for climate awareness
– Offering eco-conscious school trips
– Adopting more responsible professional practices
Becoming a partner of Clicks On – Act in Europe (the European version of the French PEBC – Projet Établissement Bas Carbone) is a natural step forward. It means helping students become real changemakers, starting with their own school

A hands-on project to learn and take action
The Clicks On project, created by the “Association Bilan Carbone” (ABC), the NGO “Avenir Climatique”, and the collective “Renaissance Écologique”, places students at the center of a participatory process: measuring and reducing the carbon footprint of their middle or high school.
Its originality? It blends scientific learning, interdisciplinary teamwork, and tangible climate action.
Over the past five years, the project has involved more than: 5,000 students, 600 schools and Across 29 academic regions

Clicks On is ideal for science teachers (biology, geography, physics), school librarians, guidance counselors, and administrators. It bridges school curricula and real-world issues. It also strengthens collaboration within the school community and highlights youth leadership.
Schools involved in the project can even use it as a step toward the E3D label (Établissement en Démarche de Développement Durable).
By supporting Clicks On – Act in Europe, MIJE furthers its mission to help young people “see further to grow better.”
