Before using our platform, please read these Terms and Conditions of Use carefully. Purpose of the T &amp; C&#039;s<\/h3>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions of Use (GTCU) is to define the terms and conditions for accessing and using the online customer area, MIJE Connect, developed by the MIJE association to facilitate the organisation of school trips. By accessing and using MIJE Connect, the User accepts these GCU.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<h3 class=\"mije_st_22\" style=\"text-align:left\">2. Active consent<\/h3>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p>The User accepts these T&amp;Cs and the Privacy Policy by ticking the consent box before creating his\/her account. In the event of a change to the TOU, the User will be informed and must accept the new conditions in order to continue using MIJE Connect.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<h3 class=\"mije_st_22\" style=\"text-align:left\">3. Definitions and publisher information<\/h3>[vc_column_text]<b>Definitions:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>\u2018Space(s)\u2019<\/b>: Refers to a User&#8217;s personal access, accessible after authentication.<\/li>\n<li><b>Site\u2019 or \u201cMIJE Connect\u201d<\/b>: Refers to all WEB pages accessible from the following URL address: https: <a href=\"https:\/\/connect.mije.com\">\/\/connect.mije.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><b>User<\/b>: Any person with a personal account enabling them to access their Space. Access to the MIJE Connect platform<\/h3>[vc_column_text]Access to MIJE Connect is free and reserved for Users who have requested a quote for a \u2018school trip\u2019, a \u2018group holiday in Paris\u2019 or a \u2018dry\u2019 ticketing request for a group.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Access to the various functions varies according to the User&#8217;s profile, the service requested and the status of the request.<\/li>\n<li>The User must provide accurate and complete identification information to activate his\/her account on MIJE Connect.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<h3 class=\"mije_st_22\" style=\"text-align:left\">5. Responsibility of the MIJE Association<\/h3>[vc_column_text]The MIJE Association undertakes to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Provide a secure online service for managing school trips;<\/li>\n<li>To protect Users&#8217; personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD);<\/li>\n<li>To ensure the smooth operation of MIJE Connect, although interruptions for maintenance may occur.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Notification in the event of a data breach<\/b>: In the event of a breach of personal data likely to create a risk for the rights and freedoms of Users, MIJE undertakes to inform them as soon as possible, in accordance with the RGPD.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<h3 class=\"mije_st_22\" style=\"text-align:left\">6. Responsibility of the User<\/h3>[vc_column_text]The User undertakes to :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide accurate information when requesting a quote;<\/li>\n<li>Check the security and correct operation of their computer configuration;<\/li>\n<li>Use MIJE Connect in accordance with the laws in force and the GCU;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the confidentiality of his\/her login details and immediately inform MIJE in the event of loss, theft or unauthorised use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<h3 class=\"mije_st_22\" style=\"text-align:left\">7. Protection of Personal Data<\/h3>[vc_column_text]MIJE is committed to processing personal data in accordance with the RGPD. Our general data protection policy can be consulted at any time online at this address: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mije.com\/en\/data-privacy-policy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.mije.com\/en\/data-privacy-policy<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The data collected via MIJE Connect is used exclusively to monitor and ensure the smooth running of trips and holidays and to improve its services. Users have the following rights regarding their data: access, rectification, deletion, opposition, limitation and portability. To exercise these rights, please contact us at <a href=\"mailto:dpo@datavigiprotection.fr\">dpo@datavigiprotection.fr<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>a) Data management in the \u2018Manage attendees\u2019 section<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>&gt;Manage the liste of attendees<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Where necessary, a \u2018specific module\u2019 for managing the list of participants is set up to collect and manage personal information relating to the participants in a holiday or trip. This module is created to simplify the management of participants, which is the responsibility of the trip coordinator: it ensures the best possible organisation of the trip and the safety of participants.<\/p>\n<p>To this end, the parents or legal guardians of minors, as well as the accompanying adults\/organising coordinator, may be asked to complete a secure online form, including the following information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Administrative data:<\/b> surname, first name, email address, date of birth, emergency telephone number, National Identity Card (NIC) or Passport number and associated expiry date.<\/li>\n<li><b>Sensitive health-related data:<\/b> diet, allergies, medical conditions and any special support required by a participant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The collection of this information is strictly subject to the explicit approval of the persons concerned, i.e. the parents or legal guardians of minors, as well as the accompanying persons\/organising coordinator. This data is used exclusively for the proper provision of services linked to the contract concluded between the MIJE association and the establishment organising the trip.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>&gt;Storage and deletion of data<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Some of the data is stored securely on the MIJE Connect0 platform, except in the event of a dispute or incident involving the travel insurer, and is purged 7 days after the end of the trip to ensure confidentiality and data protection.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that this data is also communicated to the trip coordinator (often the teacher responsible for organising a school trip). The coordinator is responsible for storing and deleting this data.<\/p>\n<p><b>b) Data management in the \u2018My backpack\u2019 section<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The data stored in this section is the responsibility of the User and will be automatically purged 15 days after the end date of the trip. MIJE does not keep or save this data.<\/p>\n<p><b>c) Responsibilities in the \u2018Teachers\u2019 Room\u2019 section<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The publication of information or educational content is the sole responsibility of the User, who guarantees to hold the necessary rights. MIJE reserves the right to delete any content deemed inappropriate.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<h3 class=\"mije_st_22\" style=\"text-align:left\">8. Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies<\/h3>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p>MIJE Connect uses cookies and similar technologies to enhance the user experience and provide a secure service. For more details, please see our Cookie Policy.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<h3 class=\"mije_st_22\" style=\"text-align:left\">9. Intellectual Property Rights<\/h3>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p>All elements of MIJE Connect, including texts, images, logos and functionalities, are protected by intellectual property law and are the exclusive property of the MIJE association.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<h3 class=\"mije_st_22\" style=\"text-align:left\">10. Security<\/h3>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p>MIJE makes every effort to ensure the security of MIJE Connect and User data. However, the User acknowledges that the use of the Internet involves certain risks.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<h3 class=\"mije_st_22\" style=\"text-align:left\">11. Limitation of Liability<\/h3>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p>MIJE cannot be held responsible for the use of MIJE Connect by Users, nor for damages resulting from non-compliant use of the GCU or prolonged unavailability of the site.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<h3 class=\"mije_st_22\" style=\"text-align:left\">12. Modification of the T &amp; C&#039;s<\/h3>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p>MIJE reserves the right to modify the GCU at any time and undertakes to inform Users of such modifications. The modifications will come into force as soon as they are published<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<h3 class=\"mije_st_22\" style=\"text-align:left\">13. Cancellation<\/h3>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p>MIJE may suspend or terminate access to MIJE Connect in the event of non-compliance with the TOS. Users may also terminate their account at any time. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction<\/h3>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p>The GCU are governed by French law.
