1/ THE FASHION SCENE

After lunch is a fashion themed live guided tour near the Palais Royal and the Vivienne Gallery covering some of the most famous and influencial designers in history and the most prestigious global fashion houses. Dinner at MIJE’s cafeteria.
After dinner is an evening of free time at the City of Fashion and Design, where major fashion shows, product launches and festive events are held throughout the year.
This cultural crossroads, which hosts major fashion events, is also a great place to relax by the River Seine. Overnight at the MIJe youth hostel.

2/ FASHION EXHIBITION AND (WINDOW)SHOPPING

Breakfast at the MIJE youth hostel, followed by a self-guided visit of a temporary exhibition which will be one of the following : The Louboutin exhibition at le Palais de la Porte Dorée ; the Thierry Mugler exhibition « Couturisme » at the Museum of Decorative Arts ; the Man Ray and Fashion exhibition at the Palais du Luxembourg ; the new Gabrielle Chanel exhibition at Palais Galliera ; Agnès B’s Fab Foundation, a place of culture and solidarity where fashion designers and stylists exhibit their works. Lunch will be at a cafeteria at les Tuileries or les Halles. After lunch is a self-guided visit of a Parisian fashion hotspot. Either Faubourg Saint-Honoré, with its numerous luxury shops ; the Avenue Montaigne, a Haute Couture landmark ; Boulevard Haussmann’s luxury department stores ; the new Forum des Halles, with its glass and iron canopy and its many shops in a newly refurbished space. Dinner at MIJE’s cafeteria and overnight at the hostel.
